The season is over, here are our final numbers:
1512 taps
527 gallons of syrup
5797 lbs of syrup
3.83 lbs per tap
First boil February 20
Last boil April 11
28 days boiling
16000' of new pipe and tubing was installed
8 1/2 cord of wood used

I started working in the woods installing upgrades and preparing in mid October. We should be done pulling taps and cleaned up by April 25 +-, so roughly 6 months almost full time working on maple and maple related business.

Thank you to everyone who helped out, encouraged me, showed up to buy product, stopped in to help when needed and was there to support our
family farm. I appreciate it.

We are already planning for next year. There are no major upgrades in the future, but lots of improvements to increase our per-tap total. We are at about half of where I think we should be. With many small changes and upgrades we should be able to increase production without adding many more taps.

Syrup is always available at Phillip View Farm in the self serve shed for any maple emergency you may have.

Thank you all.
